We spent a few lovely days heading north and enjoying the colorful foliage. Things got better the further north we got. We camped at a fancy Walmart in Vermont and then spent a few nights at Grafton Notch, Maine. We drove up a crazy road to Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.
The photos above were all made on our excursion up Mt. Washington. The photos below are from hikes in Grafton Notch State Park in far western Maine.
We saw these purple flowers everywhere. We don't see purple in the fall in the South. Loved this road sign we saw near our campground.
