When your 60th birthday is the day your team plays its arch rival in football, your party sort of plans itself! We had fun planning a huge outdoor tailgate out by our pool. We hired Perrock Entertainment to put up big screen TVs outdoors in an attempt to keep everything Covid-safe. We hoped that the weather would cooperate, but it was looking like we might need to cancel. But we woke up the morning of his birthday to an updated forecast. The rain was gone. Thank you, Lord!
We had chili, all kinds of dips, and Big Orange Pie for dessert. We submitted our tailgate for "Tailgate of the Week" and won!
